Kurousa Just Wants to Go Home is a 2D physics action game for PC (Steam) about climbing a mountain of work with nothing but stretchy ears. Aim at a ledge, stretch his ears to grab it, reel in, then swing from his ears to the next ledge. All you need is the mouse. There are no checkpoints, and after a big fall, Kurousa despairs. The in-game clock starts at 3:30 p.m. and runs ten times faster than real time. Still climbing after 5 p.m.? No game over. Your overtime is shown instead. The first climb follows a single route to the top, but clear it once and new routes appear. The ending you reach depends on the combination of your clear time, the routes you took and the items you collected. ■ Features (5) - Climb with just the mouse and his long ears: Aim at a ledge and stretch his ears to grab it, then reel in. Swing from his ears and let the momentum carry you to the next ledge. No complicated inputs: just where to grab and when to let go. That's all it takes to climb, little by little. - Big falls, no checkpoints: The harder you swing, the farther you fly. Too much swing. A missed grab. One move changes where you end up. There are no checkpoints, so you can be almost there and land right back at the start. After a big fall, Kurousa despairs. - Race your personal-best ghost and see yourself improve: Spots where you fell again and again become easy once you get the hang of it. A climb that takes hours at first can take 10 to 30 minutes once you know it (tested by 5 experienced players, falls and retries included; first-time play varies). Climb alongside the ghost of your personal best and see at a glance how far you've come. - Past 5 p.m., the overtime clock starts: The in-game clock starts at 3:30 p.m. and runs ten times faster than real time. Still climbing after 5 p.m.? No game over. Your overtime is shown instead. - After clearing: new routes and multiple endings: Your first climb follows a single route to the top. Clear it once and new routes appear, opening up new places to reach and new endings to aim for. Climbing fast alone won't get you to every ending. The ending you reach depends on the combination of your clear time, the routes you took and the items you collected. ■ Fact sheet Title: Kurousa Just Wants to Go Home Japanese title: クロウサ定時で帰りたい Genre: 2D physics action Platform: PC (Steam) Controls: Mouse only Price: USD 4.99 (JPY 500) Release: Coming soon Languages: Japanese, English Developer / Publisher: Memorynator Corporation (self-published) Franchise: Usaneko Memory (うさねこメモリー) Play time: Hours at first.
